2024 Spring Wine + Club Release


We are particularly excited for this release because we are introducing two wines that are new to our portfolio and can't wait to share them. Many of these are wine club exclusives (designated as "WCE" below) and we are excited to offer these limited production wines to our members. These wines are now available at all locations and in our online shop. See below for details.

NEW to Gård Portfolio





2021 Toro {WCE}

60% Grenache, 40% Tempranillo | Stainless steel fermented. Aged in new and neutral American and French oak barrels for 24 mos | $65

Dark cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, and earthy tones to begin. Swirling brings dark berries, dark plums, black licorice, and hints of eucalyptus, dill, and oak spice. The mouthfeel is broad and luxurious, with tons of dark red and black fruits, citrus skin, and a touch of coconut and sandalwood. The mid-palate has remarkable tension and sweetness, and the acid presentation is outstanding. The tannins are powdery, and the wine flows smoothly with a very silky texture, due to the extended barrel aging. This rioja style wine finishes extremely long, with a touch caramel and a floral lift. Amazing now, you can drink this beautiful wine in the next 20 years. Decanting recommended. 

Suggested pairings: Arugula, dill, Manchego and crispy prosciutto salad, filet mignon, lighter Indian dishes, sheep milk cheeses 


50% Viognier, 50% Roussanne | Whole cluster pressed, and barrel fermented; aged in new and neutral French oak 300L barrels for 18 mos | $50

With a pronounced yellow hue, this Viognier and Roussanne blend begins with ripe stone fruit, ginger, tangerine peel, white pepper, and potpourri. Swirling brings peach cobbler, butterscotch, and oak spice. The mouthfeel is broad and fleshy, with tons of ripe white fruits and spicy components. Extremely layered, with phenomenal texture and sweetness, the acid presentation here is outstanding. The longer the wine stays in the glass, the more you’ll be able to find. Beautifully balanced and concentrated, this fantastic Rhône-style blend can be drunk now or aged for another 15 years. Decanting recommended. 

Suggested pairings: Crab cakes, Asian sesame chicken salad, roasted root vegetables 



New Spring Release Vintages


100% Cabernet Franc | Whole cluster pressed; stainless steel fermented and aged for 6 mos | $28

Williams pear, lemon peel, and notes of ginger and honeydew melon. The 2023 Franc Blanc begins with high aromatic intensity and a very layered nose. Swirling brings ripe cantaloupe, pear compote, and hints of shiso leaf. The mouthfeel is mouthwatering, pure, and vibrant, with great texture and remarkable volume. There’s also a very elegant salinity and minerality attached to tons of melon and stone fruit flavors. The wine finishes long and juicy, with a light pyrazine touch. Beautiful now, you can enjoy this unicorn of a wine in the next 4 years. 

Suggested pairings: Salmon with lemon and dill, roasted Brussel sprouts, mild cheddar cheese, gouda 


100% Chardonnay | Whole cluster pressed, and barrel fermented; aged in new and neutral French oak 500L puncheons for 18 mos | $42

Caramelized pineapple, baked apple, lemon oil, and hints of fir. The 2021 Chardonnay Grand Klasse begins ripe, with hints of citrus and a touch of greenness on the nose. Swirling brings ripe stone fruit, wet stone, oak spice, and dried herbs. The mouthfeel is rich and layered, with a great combination of citrus and tropical fruits. The texture and tension here are remarkable, showcasing high purity and elegance. Extremely long, the wine finishes vibrant and with the right amount of sweetness and a saline touch to balance it out. Beautiful now, you can enjoy this fantastic Chardonnay in the next 12 years. 

Suggested pairings: Roasted herbed chicken, shrimp linguine in creamy butter lemon sauce, triple cream brie, butternut squash risotto


100% Pinot Noir | Stainless steel fermented; aged in new and neutral French oak 500L puncheons for 16 mos | $60

Dark cherry, tobacco leaf, blueberry jam, and hints of boysenberry. Swirling brings dark fruits, black licorice, and cedar. The palate is broad, with tons of dark red and black fruits, oak spice, soft tannins, and a lifted acid presentation. The wine evolves constantly in the glass to more savory tones, without losing tension and lift. A beautiful Washington Pinot Noir that you can enjoy now or in the next 10 years. 

Suggested pairings:  Beef Bourguignon, duck breast with cherry compote, mushroom dishes, gruyere, camembert


100% Cabernet Franc | Stainless steel fermented; aged in new and neutral French oak barrels for 22 mos | $50

Ripe plum, dark cherry, bay leaf, pencil shavings, and menthol. Swirling brings fig paste, blackberry confiture, green peppercorn, and dried herbs. The mouthfeel is rich and layered, with dark fruit, oak and baking spices, hints of milk chocolate, cardamom, and orange peel. Very layered, with soft texture and beautiful acidity, the tannins here are almost powdery, and the wine finishes remarkably long, with a touch of pyrazine greenness, molasses, and oak spice. Enjoy now or in the next 15 years.  

Suggested pairings: Cornish game hen, grilled lamb, gorgonzola burger, black beluga lentil salad, asparagus
